ALL AMERICAN SPEEDWAY HOSTS NASCAR SUMMER CLASSIC ON AUGUST 24TH

ROSEVILLE, Calif. (August 19, 2024) – Roseville’s All American Speedway continues its celebration of 70 years of racing @the Grounds with the NASCAR Summer Classic on Saturday night August 24th. All seven NASCAR weekly championship divisions will be competing followed by the return of Demolition Derby action for a fender-banging competition plus post-race fireworks light up the sky. JM Environmental Super Series Late Models, Berco Redwood Pro Late Models, Velocity Solar Modifieds, NAPA Auto Parts Super Stocks, F4s, Pressler Properties Legends, and Jr. Late Models will battle under the lights.

Grandstands open at 4:00pm with heat races getting underway at 5:00pm. Opening ceremonies are at 6:00pm and feature a special presentation from the Cibara Go Kart team with Bel Ali Shriners. Tickets for NASCAR Summer Classic are available online at www.AllAmericanSpeedway.com or at the gates. All seats are general admission, priced at $20 for adults, juniors ages 6-12 are $15, and kids 5 & under are FREE!

Loomis’ Kenna Mitchell aims to defend her popular opening night victories in both the JM Environmental Wild West Super Series Late Models and Berco Redwood Pro Late Models during the Summer Classic. The 2024 Del Oro High School graduate will face a new challenger in the Super Series. 2023 Shasta 125 winner Dane Nissen of Williams is expected for his All American Speedway debut to challenge some of the best Super Late Model drivers in the west.

The NASCAR Pro Late Model action will also have some new faces including fourth-generation driver Kylie Glick of Lincoln, celebrating her recent 14th birthday with a “graduation” into the Pro Late Model class. Josh Whitfield of Roseville is the defending champion of the Pro Late Model division and targets victory lane during the Summer Classic.

Cody Winchel of Sebastopol was a fresh face in Velocity Solar Victory Lane for the Velocity Solar Modifieds on June 1st, winning a $1000 prize by taking the 30-lap feature. Winchel topped 2023 champion Tyler Wentworth of Rocklin in the curtain raising race with Luke Kaper of Lincoln finishing third.

Roseville’s Phil Wilkins prevailed in the season-opening NAPA Auto Parts Super Stocks 30-lap feature. Tim Walters of Dixon was his closest foe with Antelope’s Terry Thomas, Jr. finishing third.

The re-engineered F4 division came out of the gate swinging with a competitive 30-lap race to open the season with Citrus Heights’ Vic Theberge grabbing the win over former champion Ray Molina of Roseville.

Chase Lopez of San Leandro won the season opener for the Jr. Late Model division for drivers ages 10-16 years old and will have a repeat win on his agenda in a 25-lap main event.

Pressler Properties INEX Legends are racing for their inaugural track championship in Roseville. An outstanding 26 cars participated in the season opener with 2022 Modified track champion Brandon White of Eureka picking up the win. A 30-lap feature is scheduled for the Summer Classic.

Activities begin Friday with practice from 4pm to 7:30pm On race day Saturday, pit gates open at 10:30am followed by a drivers meeting at 11:30am and practice at 12:30pm Grandstand gates open at 4pm with heat racing at 5pm. Opening ceremonies are at 6pm, followed by the seven main events, the Demolition Derby, and the post-race fireworks.
